Assembly Swiss movement in Ticino

In the beginning, all Swiss watch movements were assembled in Losen. However, despite continuous expansions at the Baselbiet site, demand in the early 1970s could no longer be met.

This is how Ronda became active in southern Switzerland and initially had watch movements assembled by an outside partner. A few years later, a joint venture with the company Reglatronic followed, and in the 1990s the subsidiary Farone SA was replaced and established in Stabio.

State-of-the-art infrastructure

A few years after the turn of the millennium, Farone's assembly capacities were exhausted, so that a new building was designed and constructed within a short time. The modern 6,000-square-meter production facility in Stabio finally went into operation in the summer of 2008.

Many young Italian women in particular are benefiting from the attractive job offers in Switzerland because the national border is just a stone's throw away.

Proven quality

All assembled movements undergo systematic AQL quality control. Individual series are also temperature tested.
After all quality checks are approved, Farone ships the finished products back to the company's headquarters in Lausen. From there, Swiss Made movements are delivered to watch manufacturers around the world.
