The shop window, the wood-paneled vaults behind the consulting tables, and the workshop: If you haven't already been mesmerized by the splendor of the jewelry on display, you'll discover the craft itself when you take a look behind the scenes at Bosshart Goldsmiths. What is an age-old tradition surprises many today: For around 150 years, personal pieces of jewelry have been created directly on site in the atelier from gold, platinum and precious stones and individually made for the wishes of the customer. Each piece is therefore unique. The cycle from the wish to the planning, to the production, to the sight of the finished product closes here. And just as grandparents reveal the origin of their wedding rings to their children in confidence, the Bosshart family has been passing on their art of goldsmithing for four generations.
