Haute Horlogerie Schindler SA (Zermatt)

**Kurt Schindler - founder of the "Bijouterie Schindler" - received his diploma as "Horloger-Rhabilleur" at the renowned watchmaking school in Solothurn with special distinction.

After having perfected his knowledge and skills during various internships in Switzerland, he quickly advanced to become the head responsible for the training of watchmakers at leading companies in London and Milan.

In 1967, enriched with valuable experience, he moved to Zermatt, where within a very short time he was entrusted with the management of a jewelry and watch store. Thanks to his profound expertise, he was able to open his own specialty store in 1978.

In 1982 Kurt Schindler moved into his new premises on Bahnhofstrasse in Zermatt, where the company's headquarters are still located today. In all the years of his successful business activity, the passionate aesthete and pragmatist succeeded in gaining the trust of a loyal regular clientele.
